Recruitment

FIJI is a one of a kind experience for your college days, helping you prepare for life in whatever direction it may take you. The best way to really experience what we’re about, is to come for a visit and chat with the brothers. Interested? Just contact Blake Benton to get set up for a tour!

The Chi Deuteron Chapter house sits on the corner of Sunset Avenue and Hunting, only a block from the K-State campus. The house has 25 three person rooms, situated on three floors. It also includes a movie room, two recently renovated study rooms, and two laundry rooms for use free of charge. Brothers also enjoy a large back yard with a volleyball pit, and tiki hut. Dinner is served at the house by our professional chef from Sunday to Thursday, with lunch Monday through Friday. We also offer a fully stocked kitchen for your use in making breakfast, or any other snacks you may desire!

Phi Gamma Delta is committed to excellence when it comes to academic achievement. Freshman are involved in mandatory study hours, which helps guide them through their shift from high school academics and study habits, to the strenuous requirements of colligate classes. Freshman also must meet a minimum grade point average for initiation, which is higher than both the university, and International fraternity requirements. Our Educational Foundation offers over $340,000 in scholarships, which all members may apply for. All men who achieve a 3.0 or higher during their pledge semester will receive a $250 check!

The fraternity participates in many activities both on and off campus, including intramurals for almost every sport offered. Participation is stressed, but not required. We play to win! Philanthropic projects are a major focus for us, as we are committed to giving back to the community. The Chi Deuteron, and Pi Deuteron (KSU and KU) are most known for the FIJI run for Leukemia, in which brothers from both chapters meet the day before KSU-KU football game, and run (yes, run) the game ball from the away stadium, to the host stadium each year. In addition, for the past 17 years we have won the campus blood drive.
