The Chi Deuteron chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at K-State involves itself in many events both on campus and off. The men host the largest grossing philanthropy at the University, and participate in many events held by other sororities and fraternities. Our most noteworthy philanthropy is our annual Fiji Run, an event that brothers look forward to year round. Our chapter partners up with the Pi Deuteron chapter at KU to run the game ball for the KSU-KU football game, during which we raise money from graduate brothers and local sponsors alike. Each year the philanthropy raises a large sum for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, last year it was the top overall philanthropy among all Greek houses. Along with our money raising efforts, we do a number of activities on campus that are extremely fun and anticipated. One of which is our “Sibling Rivalry” with our sister sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. During this all day event we compete with the ladies in various activities and ending the day with a barbeque back at the house. The men took home the trophy at this year’s Sibling Rivalry, the first time in many attempts.
